About Us

MERP was founded by individuals with a high pedigree of IT experience and with a philosophy that resolving complex business problems requires refined consulting acumen and strong technical wherewithal. Having superior technical competency is only part of any solution. Understanding the unique business challenges and client's goals are prerequisites for successful program management, effective delivery and sustained growth.

At MERP Systems, our consultative approach to business and IT challenges addresses and integrates all the key variables to ensure successful program implementation and ease of use. Our relationships typically start with smaller IT service engagements. MERP uses a custom platform orientation created by professionals with great expertise in telecommunications and database management coupled with advanced financial and cost accounting experience.

Our in-depth knowledge of Government, commercial and nonprofit business dynamics enables us to identify and use a best practices approach to solve evolving business challenges. This wide expertise mix helps MERP to assimilate proven standards used by various vertical markets and integrate these solutions into our customer's needs and goals.


Nivita Ganesan, President

Nivita Ganesan is the President of MERP Systems, Inc. Nivita is responsible for strategy, technical direction, and operational oversight of MERP. She founded the organization with a desire to create an impactful organization that leveraged the strengths of advanced computing. Nivita couples the strengths of an adept technocrat and her superior business skills in leading this transformational organization. She oversees the Microsoft Dynamics CRM, CRM portal, and SharePoint Center of Excellence (CoE) at MERP. Prior to founding MERP, Nivita has worked with Price Water House Coopers, Sprint Nextel, and City of Alexandria.

Nivita holds a BS degree in Engineering from Madras University, India.

Prem Nair, Partner

Prem Nair is the co-founder and Partner of MERP Systems, Inc. Prem is responsible for the market development and new customer acquisition activities for MERP. Prem has more than seventeen (17) years of experience serving various federal agencies such as NIH, DOL, Treasury, USGS, FWS, Commerce, NRC, DOD, and GSA. He works with industry leaders to create process improvement strategies for Federal agencies. Prior to MERP, Prem led the federal division team for HCL America. Working for Time Warner Cable, Prem managed the CallerID on TV product.
Prem has three (3) master degrees to his credit including an MBA from University of Maryland.

Dhejo Prothasis, Chief Technology Officer

Joe is the Chief Technology Officer at MERP. Joe is responsible to establish technological vision for an organization and leads the company's technological development. Joe oversees all technical aspects of turn-key solutions and customer projects. His key responsibilities include developing a strategy for blockchain based solutions for Federal Agencies and Healthcare Customers; expanding delivery cadence; and designing modular, flexible technical systems to support MERP customer requirements and business needs. He also manages the Agile project management practice and DevOps teams.
Most recently, Joe worked at Microsoft as a Solutions Architect. His responsibility included extending the product feature set by integrating various ISV like Twilio, TokBox, Recursive Labs, and Coveo. He was part of the team that put together the Events Management Module for the Dynamics CRM Portal. He acted as technology adviser to Microsoft partners including SSA, Chobani, SingTel, BHP, and Ford.
Joe holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Application from BITS Mesra. Joe has contributed to many open source projects and published white papers on various aspect of software development.

Sudhee Maddur, Vice President

Sudhee is the Vice President, Technical Services with MERP. Sudhee is responsible for managing large and complex project engagements that require careful orchestration of processes, people, and tools. Sudhee also heads the capture and proposal management at MERP.
Sudhee has over twenty (20) years of experience in IT Program and Project management with progressively increasing roles and responsibilities. Sudhee managed multi-year, multi-million dollar project portfolios at GSA and has led the capture and proposal development for numerous federal, state government, and commercial bids. As the Chair of the PMIWDC-Loudoun Community, Sudhee also oversees the activities of this community and is an active participant in the local chapter of PMIWDC.
Sudhee did his Masters from George Washington University and also holds a Masters degree in Computer Applications from JNT University, India.
Sudhee holds an active PMP certification and is a certified Scrum Master. He is also a certified Salesforce Administrator.

Sree Nair, Vice President

Sree Nair is the Vice President, Operations for MERP Systems. Sree brings in exceptional operations and administrative management skills to the organization. At MERP, he is responsible for management of project engagements, proposal management, and turn-key solution deliveries. Prior to joining MERP, he worked at Environmental Protection Agency as a Project Manager managing a pesticide registration data collections and application processing effort with a staff of more than 25 analysts. Sree has a PhD degree in Marine Biology and spent his early years researching the biota of various oceans including the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean.

John Cronin, Business Development & Strategy

John Cronin leads the MERP Systems business strategy and development activities, having over 30 years of Federal government experience in the sale of products and professional services to virtually all Federal agencies. John started his career as a software engineer for major systems integrators, building advanced knowledge management solutions. His BD/Sales background includes executive management roles at Eastman Software, Autonomy, and HP/MicroLink, selling technology solutions into Civilian, Defense, and National Security entities.

Karen Klima, Executive Consultant & Strategic Adviser

Ms. Klima has a proven track record spanning over thirty-years of diverse and complex experience managing projects and programs, solving problem and helping businesses achieve their fullest potential. She has led complex and diverse environmental, IT, and information delivery services projects and programs in the public sector. Most recently, she developed the USGS enterprise hosting platform solution architecture and served as strategic analyst and advisor for migrating DOI/US Geological Survey data centers, systems and applications to the cloud.

At the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S.Geological Survey (USGS), she provided leadership and management of special projects with strategic importance to natural science and citizen collaboration. She initiated the USGS web re-engineering,which served as catalyst for the DOI-wide website re-engineering. She managed the design and delivery of high profile websites to promote collaboration for watershed management and meet business need,including the Department of Interior’s WaterSMART Clearinghouse; the USGS Web presence; Council on Environmental Quality’s American Heritage Rivers; and EPA’s Window to My Environment and Clean Water Action-Surf Your Watershed.
Ms. Klima served as USGS Enterprise Web Program Manager and Senior Strategic Advisor with the responsibility of delivering information to millions over the Internet to enable discovery of our natural world through integrated on-demand information and technology services.While in that position, she led the conceptualization and initial development of the USGS’s enterprise computing platform enabling the USGS Science Strategy to meet global challenges more efficiently and effectively.
For her development of innovative website applications, Ms. Klima was bestowed the EPA Gold Medal, the National Performance Hammer for reinventing access to ecological information, and the Government Computer News recognition of efforts to improve information technology applications for the federal government.
